This past Saturday, Karl, from K & D RV Transport out of Tacoma, drove out to tow our toy hauler to the repair shop in Washington. I had talked to Karl several times on the phone, and felt very comfortable handing our ‘home’ over to him.
Karl had to reinforce the frame before he could move our 5er. He jacked up the sidewalls until they were even with the flexing steel frame, wrapped the corners with heavy duty angle iron, and ran screws through the angle iron, sidewalls, and original frame.
I asked Vaughn to take some pictures of what Karl was doing to the camper so that he could move it, and Vaughn came home with pictures of Karl’s sweet tow vehicle instead… it’s a guy thing I guess.
well, I’m off to pack…
I am hapy to hear all of this working out for you. And to see all the palces you can stay while your home is being repaired. Have fun on your lunch out!
Can I go out to lunch too? Love you guys 😉
